The Bromont National Cycling Centre is committed to encouraging young people in our region to adopt healthy lifestyle habits through sport. We are pleased to join forces with our generous partners to offer scholarships and programs for tomorrow’s athletes.

Description of involvement
Thanks to the Shimano youth program, every year 6 schools in the region benefit from a free half-day discovery cycling activity. A perfect opportunity to introduce your groups to different cycling sports and give them an unforgettable experience.
Eligibility criteria
- Be a primary or secondary school
- A class of no more than 30 students
- Having a high poverty index (considered, but not mandatory)
Application date
You have until November 1st to submit your application using the online form. The CNCB Builders Committee will select the candidates. Winners will be contacted in mid-November.

Bursary description
Thanks to generous donors, the CNCB is proud to award one of two annual Theo Bursaries, valued at $1,000 each, to 2 individuals who have distinguished themselves in their sporting community.
The Théo Leardership and Involvement Bursary recognizes and rewards two members of the community who have been actively and consistently involved in CNCB activities on a volunteer basis. They may also have contributed to the CNCB’s reputation through their sporting activities.
Eligibility criteria
- 13 to 25 years old
- Embody the values of the CNCB (excellence, passion, pleasure, sharing, balance)
- Demonstrate volunteer involvement within the sports community and the CNCB and/or
- Promoting the CNCB

You have until October 1 to submit your application using the online form. The CNCB Builders Committee will select the candidates. Bursaries will be awarded at the CNCB benefit dinner in mid-November.
About the Theo Grant
Behind the Théo bursary are generous people who want to support young people in the region who are involved and committed to the community. One of the aims of the bursary is to recognize and encourage young people to give back to society, whether through volunteer work or personal achievements.

Bursary description
Thanks to our partner Faction Bike Studio, the CNCB is proud to award two Élite bursaries worth $[to come] each to 2 regional athletes who have invested themselves in their cycling community.
La bourse Élite vise à reconnaître et récompenser deux personnes de la communauté́ qui se sont démarquées par leurs résultats sportifs et académiques.
Eligibility criteria
- Be a student between the ages of 16 and 28
- Embody the values of the CNCB (excellence, passion, pleasure, sharing, balance)
- Practice a cycling discipline at a competitive level

About Faction Bike Studio
Based in Granby, Quebec-based Faction Bike Studio has been working with leading brands in the bicycle industry since 2010. True invisible experts in the industry, our passionate engineers, designers and technicians combine new technologies with proven in-house methods to co-create exceptional products for all cyclists.
Description of involvement
The Goutz’y program is an educational and sports program designed to encourage a physically active lifestyle by introducing young people to cycling activities, often the basis for active travel or accessible group activities.
Through this program, young people will learn how to choose the foods they eat, favoring raw and seasonal products to avoid processed ones. What’s more, they’ll learn to encourage the consumption of nutritious, accessible foods, and to adopt a more responsible approach to consumption.
Eligibility criteria
- To be an organization that works for youth
- Work in a community with a high poverty index (considered, but not mandatory)
- A group of no more than 20 young people
Centre Marguerite Dubois
“In concrete terms, through workshops guided by professionals (nutritionists, etc.), young people will learn the key to local and responsible consumption, through food selection, but also by teaching cooking skills that help reduce food waste.”
