You will build your confidence, strengthen your knowledge, and ensure a progression.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Does the bike location include trail access?<\/strong><br \/>\nEach bike location includes access to our trails which are in the woods behind the CNCB.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting point and parking :<\/strong><br \/>\nEach bike rental is handed directly at the CNCB located at 400 rue Shefford ; simply walk to the entrance of the building. Parking is free. You have the option to take your car and drive with your bike, so you can access other trails from the Parc des Sommets (per example, Mont-Oak, Mont-Bernard).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Needed material for the perfect <em>fat bike<\/em> outing :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bike* or ski helmet<\/li>\n<li>Water bottle<\/li>\n<li>Energetic snacks (nuts, granola-bars, dry fruits, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Tissues<\/li>\n<li>Sunglasses and suns cream (if needed)<\/li>\n<li>Proper attire (see next question)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*If you use a bike helmet, it is preferrable to wear at light tuque without a pompon, so that your comfortable and your head is kept warm.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Fat bike<\/em> attire of choice :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In winter, humidity is your enemy. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2022 Winter pants that are adjusted to your ankles (ex. Alpine or cross-country ski pants)<\/li>\n<li>Breathable winter coat<\/li>\n<li>Wear a lot of layers, so you can add or take some off, as needed. *<\/li>\n<li>Warm gloves (mittens aren\u2019t recommended, because they don\u2019t allow you to control your speed and breaks adequately)<\/li>\n<li>Winter or fat bike specific boots<\/li>\n<li>Warm socks, we advice you to wear your socks right before your ride, so that your feet don\u2019t get humid beforehand.<\/li>\n<li>Neck warmer<br \/>\n* Ideally, you should wear clothes that breathe. We want to stay away from humidity as much as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are renting a bike with us, make sure to have an ID card which will be kept until the end of your rental.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>After-bike<\/em> essentials!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be sweaty<\/li>\n<li>Smile until your teeth are dry<\/li>\n<li>Have a drink<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Recommended pitstops :<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Come and enjoy our selection of microbrewery beer, a hot drink or our lunch counter!
