Are you looking for a weekly session to practice and perfect your dirt jump technique, in a group and in complete safety? Look no further. The CNCB’s Dirt Jump classes are designed to help you build the physical and technical foundations needed to perform jumps with confidence.

Designed for both adults and children ages 8 and up, this program is for anyone who wants to improve their skills in a motivating and safe environment. Training sessions are led by instructors, allowing participants to practice at their own pace while receiving guidance from experienced coaches.

The Dirt Jump class is perfect for participants who want to improve their jumping skills on the CNCB’s iconic features, whether it’s the Sunny Dirts, the big air, or the small dirt jump line. It’s also a great opportunity to get together with fellow enthusiasts every week, and why not ride alongside your child? Everyone is welcome.

Want to improve your jumping skills and make progress in a supportive and challenging environment? The CNCB Dirt Jump course offers six dynamic sessions focused on technical development, building confidence, and the joy of riding together.

What to expect in class:

  • Improve your dirt jumping skills, both technically and in terms of fluidity and confidence.
  • Work on your fundamentals at the pumptrack, with one or two sessions scheduled in Waterloo.
  • Learn and explore new moves at your own pace and at your own level.
  • Develop the ability to progress independently in dirt jumping by setting yourself achievable challenges and learning how to structure your training.
  • Ride in a group, meet other enthusiasts, and enjoy challenging and motivating rides.

From May 22 to June 26

  • Friday evenings, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Postponed in case of bad weather

We will prioritize indoor activities at the CNCB on days when the weather is not ideal for training. If the CNCB’s indoor facilities are unavailable on that day, a maximum of one session may be rescheduled for the end of the regular season.

Age Requirements and Eligibility

The class is open to children ages 8 and up, as well as adults.

Required material

  • A dirt jump bike or BMX in good condition (rental available)
  • Bicycle helmet (full-face recommended)
  • Closed shoes
  • Sport clothes that are suited for the practice
  • Knee pads, long gloves, chest protector, and elbow pads (recommended)
  • Water bottle
  • Sport clothes suited for the practice

Requirements

  • Be 8 years old or older (exceptions may apply)
  • Feeling comfortable on a pumptrack while riding in a “standing” position
