Passionate about the outdoors and cycling since the age of 2, Nicolas has been involved in community sports for over 25 years, as an athlete, coach, coordinator and now manager. Instigator of the Vélodrome Sylvan Adams – Centre multisport Desjardins, he has mobilized the sports and business communities throughout Quebec and Canada.

He has been General Manager of the Bromont National Cycling Centre for over 10 years.

After several years working in the fields of skiing, tourism, and project management, Delphine joined the CNCB team as Director of Marketing, Customer Experience, and Events. Her management and communication skills, as well as her leadership, enable her to forge strong links with industry stakeholders and delight everyone she meets along the way.

A close collaborator of the CNCB for many years, her contribution was decisive in the final stages leading to the opening of the Vélodrome Sylvan Adams – Centre Multisport Desjardins. Today, she is passionately involved in every aspect of the center, where you can now clearly see a trace of her beautiful colors.

An economist by training, Andrée has devoted 20 years of her life to international humanitarian aid, working in war zones as well as in the heart of Europe’s most sought-after capitals. A small red cross tattooed on her heart bears witness to her commitment.

She swam competitively throughout her teenage years, but it was after a bike tour that she discovered her passion for the sport. That’s when she met her soul mate, a cyclist from Bromont!
Since 2015, Andrée has put her experience and passion to work for the CNCB.

A native of the Laurentians, Marie-Michèle chose to settle in the beautiful Eastern Townships to raise her family. A beekeeper in her spare time, a game of golf is never out of the question, but she’s still an avid downhill skier!

Her career in the restaurant business has taken her into many different spheres, culminating in her appointment as Executive Assistant and Human Resources Coordinator at the CNCB, where she passionately supports her colleagues and is an unfailing ally for the entire team.

Involved with the CNCB since 2008, Julien officially joined our team in 2024 as Infrastructure Manager. Coming from a mountain bike background, he has competed at provincial and national levels, while also practicing high-level alpine skiing. This expertise led him to represent Canada at the Beijing Paralympic Games in 2022, as guide to visually impaired skier Logan Leach.

An engineer by training, Julien has worked with a number of construction contractors, where he was involved in the design and implementation of major projects in the residential, commercial and institutional sectors. His hands-on experience, combined with his keen understanding of the needs of athletes and sports infrastructures, makes him a valuable asset to the CNCB. By joining our team today, he is putting his expertise at the service of the development, improvement and sustainability of our facilities, in order to support the cycling elite and future generations of athletes.

Sarah began her university career in systems information management to indulge her “geek” side, then went on to do a Masters in e-commerce sciences to nurture her interest in marketing.

Thanks to her subsequent experience in creative agencies and online sales, Sarah has developed solid expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, data tracking and advertising campaigns.

Today, after taking on the challenge of replacing the CNCB’s Marketing, Customer Experience and Events Department during a year’s maternity leave, Sarah is happy to remain with the team to steer various marketing projects and strategies. Her technical background, combined with a good knowledge of the industry and the cycling community, is a valuable asset in defining and implementing the CNCB’s initiatives.

When she’s not managing projects, you’ll find her on two wheels, downhill in the mountains, on the pumptrack or on the move on her gravel bike!

Her motto is simple: you can’t improve what you can’t measure… And that goes for marketing as much as for cycling!

With a background in the media, where he worked for several years, Maxime joined the CNCB team in 2025 as Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Recognized for his writing skills and ability to connect with people, he uses his experience and creativity to promote the Centre’s activities and projects.

A native of Bromont, Maxime is deeply attached to his region and its active lifestyle. Passionate about sports and the outdoors, he is an enthusiastic skier, cyclist, hiker, field hockey player and golfer – disciplines that feed both his work and his daily life.

Thanks to her ITHQ training in hotel management, Alexandra has been able to travel all over America, perfecting her range of knowledge and resources. She then discovered the world of sports, in which she has now worked for 15 years as a volunteer and manager.

Mother of 3 young up-and-coming cyclists, For the past 2 years, Alexandra has held the position of Groups and Events Coordinator, a role in which she devotes herself with great passion and determination. If you’d like to organize a private event or activity, she’ll know how to make it happen!

Passionate about cycling in all its forms – road, mountain, gravel – since she was a teenager, Virginie evolved in the world of road racing between 2005 and 2012. A user of the Bromont National Cycling Centre since that time, she has seen the site transform over the years and is now proud to contribute to it as Customer Experience Coordinator.

Originally from the Lower Laurentians, she moved to the Eastern Townships two years ago, an area that perfectly reflects her active lifestyle. She loves her work and finally feels she has found the perfect balance between passion and professional life.

Marianne specializes in gravel biking, beginner mountain biking and learning to ride (ages 2-6), and enjoys guiding riders through their first experiences on two wheels. She holds a master’s degree in psychoeducation and is currently undergoing NCCP certification.

With experience coordinating large-scale cycling events and leading youth camps, she knows how to adapt her approach to all skill levels. Whether it’s introducing little ones to the world of balance bikes or pedals, or guiding beginners through their first rides in mountain biking and gravel biking, she creates a space where kids can not only learn to ride, but also learn to manage the fear that often comes with trying something new.

She prefers to cover several kilometers at a leisurely pace, with a smile on her face, rather than speeding along!

Originally from Montreal’s South Shore, Charles-Antoine settled in Bromont in 2018. It was upon arriving in the region that his passion for cycling truly took shape. Whether it’s gravel, mountain biking, fat biking, dirt jumping, or track cycling, it’s on two wheels that he truly thrives.

Bromont native and kinesiologist by training, François has worked in the world of sports and training since 2015 in British Columbia and Quebec. A new professional challenge to supervise the CNCB team presented itself to him in 2025, and he is now in charge of operations. François pays particular attention to the human side of his leadership role with his work teams. He pays close attention to detail to ensure the smooth running of the Center for the enjoyment of its active clientele.

An avid basketball player, sports enthusiast and traveler, he is passionate about physical activity and his involvement in the community of Bromont and the Eastern Townships.

An experienced athlete and coach, Maxine has been racking up elite women’s Downhill and Enduro titles for years. With an academic background in kinesiology and a National Coaching Certification Program trainer, Max teaches her art with an emphasis on technique, safety and fun.

Coordinator of sports programs, she works to democratize women’s mountain biking, notably with the Bolt women’s team.

Alexandra is passionate about performance, both on the bike and in the mind. Trained in psychology, with a master’s degree in sports psychology in progress, she combines her mental knowledge with her experience in the field – in mountain biking (enduro, downhill), pumptrack and PowerWatts.

For the past two years, she has been taking part in the Downhill World Cup at Mont-Sainte-Anne, a rich learning experience that she loves to share when coaching. She helps athletes tame fear, better manage their efforts and progress with confidence, in a complete and human approach.

And when she’s not on two wheels? She enjoys a good cup of coffee with a book in hand.

Christel is a former top-level athlete: French road champion, Olympian, Quebec cyclo-cross champion… and still active in the Elite category! A trainer for 20 years, she coaches cyclists in almost every discipline: road, gravel, mountain, track, cyclo-cross, fatbike, pumptrack and BMX.

With a master’s degree in education and motor skills from Montpellier, several certifications (NCCP, UCI, PMBIA) and solid experience in the field, she knows how to pass on her knowledge with clarity and passion.

She loves to continue competing in mountain biking and cyclo-cross in the Elite category, as a family, with her children. She has a passion for all cycling disciplines, which she likes to pass on and show mothers that it’s possible to continue to perform while having a family life.

Maggie has a degree in exercise science, with a specialization in therapeutic exercise. Trained in Savvy Cyclist, Sport Safety, Cycling Fundamentals and the Embark program, she devotes her time to introducing children to cycling and road safety, particularly in grades 5 and 6.

A pedagogue at heart, she knows how to explain the stages in simple, effective key words, and creates a reassuring climate for young cyclists. Her strength? Her ability to connect with each student… often remembering their first name from the very first hour!

Having grown up in the world of motocross, BMX and downhill skiing, it only took a short trip to Whistler in 2017 for Alex to catch the mountain bike bug. Since then, he has gravitated towards the sport of cycling as a Dirt Jump, Enduro and trail rider.

Between general maintenance, building trails and obstacles at the CNCB since 2022 – and, more recently, technical coaching in mountain biking – he also finds time for his life as the father of a young son, climbing walls and skateparks.

Alex is also involved in the majority of CNCB events: whether as a participant, volunteer or organizational support, he’s always on hand to bring the community to life.

Our friend Jorge comes from a coastal town in Colombia, the land of climbers. Yet his specialty is pure speed – on the velodrome and in road criteriums. He took part in national and regional competitions as a cadet and junior athlete, until he chose to devote himself to studying mechanical engineering, which took him away from the sport for a while.

He then returned to cycling, this time in a support role, with his hometown regional team as a mechanic and technical assistant. In this position, he contributed to the success of several athletes, some of whom went on to become Pan-American champions.

Jorge first made contact with CNCB in 2019, during a video call with general manager Nicolas Legault. He officially joined the team in 2024 as a bike mechanic, ready to also put his mechanical engineering expertise to good use for any related tasks.
