Focus on your performance, we’ll take care of the rest.

MyLaps chips, or transponders, combined with the Sqorz timing system, offer a simple and effective way to keep track of your training performance. Once the chip is attached to your bike’s fork, you can train and enjoy all the benefits this turnkey system has to offer!

    • Get ultra-precise times
      The system automatically records each lap on the velodrome tracks with an accuracy of approximately 0.003 seconds, providing ultra-reliable data for each lap.
    • Track your progress over time
      Each session is stored in the Sqorz database, allowing you to view your progress week by week. This enables you to identify areas where you are underperforming and adjust your training accordingly.
    • Analyze by track segments
      Thanks to eight recording terminals distributed around the track, the velodrome provides detailed split times. You can view your performance over a full lap, on specific segments such as a 200 m sprint, or on tactical sections such as the entry or exit of a turn.
    • View data in real time
      CNCB screens display times and best laps instantly, and all data remains accessible afterwards on the Sqorz platform.
    • Optimize your time with your coach
      Since coaches no longer have to manage the stopwatch, they can focus fully on technique, tactics, safety, and detailed analysis of your data to maximize your progress.
    • Make your sessions more motivating
      Athletes can compare their times to the best laps of the session or challenge their friends or teammates, such as for the best lap or the best time over a given distance, making each workout more fun and stimulating.

Installation

Proper installation is essential to ensure a reliable signal and accurate timing. Here is a concrete diagram:

  • Personal chip — MyLaps ProChip Flex
    The ProChip Flex transponder is usually attached near the fork using a bike strap, a special mount, or plastic ties (zip ties).

    Basic rules:

    • The chip must be oriented correctly (follow the diagram provided with your chip);
    • La puce doit être placée le plus près possible de la piste, sans gêner le fonctionnement du vélo, sans modifier son orientation.
  • Rental chip
    If you are using a rental bike, the chip is usually already installed on the bike. Don’t forget to note down your chip number so you can see your results!

    CNCB staff ensure:

    • that the chip is securely attached and positioned;
    • that the number is correctly associated with your session.

If in doubt, do not hesitate to ask a member of staff to check the installation before going onto the slope.

Your personal dashboard

System users can view their training data online almost instantly, directly from their cell phones. They are linked to your chip number (transponder).

If you do not want the information linked to your chip to be available online, simply submit a request.

To view your dashboard:

Overall ranking

Comparing yourself to yourself is good; comparing yourself to your peers on the track certainly adds excitement! Thanks to the chip system, you can now see the Monthly and yearly rankings of the best laps and segments achieved at CNCB by other users. The platform also allows you to filter by gender and age, which will enable you to see your actual ranking among cyclists in your category.

An overview of the overall rankings will also be displayed on the TV screen at the edge of the track, providing quick, real-time information for everyone!

Integration with other applications

At this time, this is not possible. Sqorz does not offer direct integration with Strava, TrainingPeaks, or other training applications.

If integration with other platforms becomes available in the future, the CNCB will communicate the information.

    Battery life span

    The battery life of a MyLaps ProChip Flex chip is approximately 5 years. This means you don’t have to worry about recharging or replacing the battery during the rental period of your chip.

    Data that does not seem to be recording

    If you feel that your data is not being recorded or your times are not being displayed, carefully check the installation of your chip on the bike and make sure that your rental period has not simply expired. If the problem persists:

    1. Report it promptly to a coach or CNCB staff member.
    2. The staff will first double-check:
      • the position of the chip on the bike;
      • transponder status (battery);
      • the correct association of the chip with the current session.
    3. If the problem persists, the staff will:
      • will be able to test the chip in the system;
      • offer you a replacement transponder for the session, if necessary;
      • Check whether your MyLaps subscription is still active if you have a personal ProChip Flex.

      Don’t wait until the end of the session: the sooner you report the problem, the easier it is to save what can be saved and avoid losing an entire session’s worth of data.

      Questions and other issues

      If you have any questions or problems, please do not hesitate to contact the reception desk or the CNCB rental counter. The team members can:

        • answer your basic questions;
        • check the installation of your chip;
        • test a transponder that appears to be faulty;
        • refer you to a technical manager if the situation requires it.

      In case of a defective or lost chip:

      • Depending on the circumstances, the CNCB may offer a loan or replacement transponder (fees may apply in the event of loss or damage).
      • If you have your own ProChip Flex, the team can help you diagnose the problem and guide you through the necessary steps (subscription renewal, contacting MyLaps, etc.).
