Technical guide
The official technical guide for the Canadian Track Championships is produced by Cycling Canada. For any questions about the technical guide, please contact Cycling Canada directly.
Athletes from outside Quebec
Experienced runners who do not reside in Quebec and are coming solely for the race may participate without CNCB track certification, provided that the Track Master observes them during the noon warm-up, determines that they can run safely with the rest of the pack, and ensures they receive the required safety instructions in advance.
However, they are not permitted to participate in open sessions and are not considered certified unless the Track Master is able to assess, at the end of the race, that they are riding safely. This decision is entirely at the discretion of the Track Master.
If they wish to participate in open sessions at the velodrome at a later date, they must obtain the appropriate certification. Therefore, at the end of the race day, they must confirm with the Track Master whether or not they are certified.
