Hyperides #3

Gravel ride

The Hyperides series is back this summer with the same winning formula. For four Sundays starting at 9 a.m., meet at the CNCB and choose your distance from 50, 70 and 100 km for a guided gravel bike ride. Routes end at Bromont’s Edgar Hyperlodge for a well-deserved post-ride refreshment!
Free participation and a complimentary beer at the finish for every rider.

9 AM to 2 PM Centre National de Cycliste de Bromont

Three different distances are available for each Hyperide: 50km, 75km or 100km. The courses are mostly gravel, but of course include occasional road sections.

For each distance, at least two groups will be formed so that each person can go at his or her own pace: relaxed or fast.

Overview of routes:

  • 50 km (available soon)
  • 75 km (available soon)
  • 100 km (available soon)

To ensure that the whole group has a great experience during the outing, take note of the following three instructions:

1. Make sure you have everything you need for the outing (see list). If you don’t know how to fix a puncture yourself, for example, don’t worry! The people supervising your group will certainly be able to help you, but for this you need to have your own equipment (spare tube, basic tools, hand pump, etc.).

Equipment required:

  • Gravel bike
  • Helmet
  • Puncture repair kit
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Water bottles and snacks

2. Be sure to download the Strava route before your group leaves.

See “routes” section.

3. Arrive at the Bromont National Cycling Centre on time.

Approximate schedule:

9:00 am: Start on the course

11:00 am: Approximate arrival of 50km group at Edgar

12:30 p.m.: Approximate arrival of 75km group at Edgar

2:00 pm: Approximate arrival of 100km group at Edgar

Details will be sent to all registrants a few days before the scheduled date of each ride.
