The Snow Classic

The third and last classic of our Quebec Cup track series.

The Snow Classic is a regional track event open to all and sanctioned by the FQSC.

We look forward to welcoming you to the center for this grand finale of the Quebec Cup!

Grouping of categories

  • Cat 1 : Seniors 1 Men
  • Cat 2 : Seniors 2 -3 Menand U19
  • Cat 3 : Masters Men(A 35-49 years / B 50 years +)
  • Cat 4 Women U19, Sr, Masters
  • Cat 5 : Women U15, U17
  • Cat 6 : Men U15, U17

* Considering that the series takes place over 2 years, the age considered for the categories in the entries will be that which the participant reaches in 2024.

Medals and podiums based on the above categories and subcategories. For the Quebec Cup leader jerseys, the points accumulation will also be based on the same categories.

  • 1st – 10 points
  • 2nd – 8 points
  • 3rd – 6 points

  • From 6th to last – 1 point for all the other positions

10.30 am – Door opening

  • Pick up your wristband at reception – the registration table with the stewards will be inside the velodrome

12.00 pm – Warm-up on the track

  • 12.00 pm to 12.15 CAT 5 and 6 (Maximum of 24 riders in rotation at any one time)
  • 12.15 pm to 12.30pm CAT 4 and 3 (Maximum of 30 riders at a time in rotation)
  • 12.30 pm to 12.45 pm CAT 2 and 1 (Maximum of 30 riders at a time in rotation)

12:45 pm – Meeting with riders and Chief Commissaire (at the podium)

1h00 pm – Devil’s Scratch (Elimination down to the last 6 riders followed by a 6-lap scratch race)

8.00pm – Madison (exhibition) (mixte teams – limited gear ratio 52×15)

* If there are more than 24 participants in the category, there will be qualifying rounds in order to hold a final (the qualifying round is always a points race).

Registrations are currently closed. They closed on the Friday before the race, at midday on 19 January.

Only certified and registered coaches will be allowed to enter the central area and accompany their athlete.
