Our Ini-Bike courses, powered by UBAC, are introductory cycling programs for various disciplines specially designed for children.

Directly on our Bromont site, children will have the chance to discover the first techniques of a cycling discipline under the guidance of qualified coaches. Learning, safety, and progression are emphasized throughout the sessions.

The course specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 who want to start and progress on a balance bike.

These courses offer toddlers the opportunity to discover the CNCB’s indoor or outdoor facilities, depending on the season, while using their pedal-less bikes. Supervised by experienced trainers, they can develop their balance and riding skills in a safe, age-appropriate environment.

    Is your toddler doing wonderfully on his walker bike and ready to try a bike with pedals?

    Our Ini-Two-Wheels course is the perfect progression to get your child on the pedals for the first time, with fun and safe sessions supervised by our trainers. This is a golden opportunity for parents to learn how to support their children’s learning to ride a two-wheeled bike.

    Through fun games, practical exercises and personalized attention, our qualified trainers guide children in learning the basics of pedaling, while building their confidence and motor coordination.

    Requirements

    • Active support from each parent throughout the course
    • Bicycle with mechanical brake mandatory (back-pedal brakes not permitted)
    • Small stabilizer wheels not permitted
    • Helmet mandatory

      This course is for children aged 5 to 8 who have little experience and want to learn mountain biking.

      Offered over a 6-week period, youngsters will learn the basic techniques of mountain biking, progressing on circuits appropriate to their level.

      Requirements

      Please note that it is essential for your child to be able to pedal independently for 200 meters in order to take part in the course. A quick assessment will be made during the first session to confirm this ability.

        Summer Block

        This course is aimed for children aged 5 to 8 who have little experience and want to learn BMX.

        Offered over a 6-week period, youngsters will learn the basic techniques of BMX with progression on circuits appropriate to their level.

        Requirements

        Please note that it is essential for your child to be able to pedal independently for 200 meters in order to take part in the course. A quick assessment will be made during the first session to confirm this ability.

          Summer Block
          No classes scheduled

            This course is aimed at children aged 5 to 8 with little cycling experience who want to learn how to ride a pumptrack safely.

            Over a 6-week period, the youngsters will learn basic bike handling techniques, roller-skating techniques and some BMX techniques, progressing on circuits appropriate to their level. The program is for boys and girls who already know how to ride their bike without assistance.

            Requirements

            • Be able to pedal unassisted for 200 metres on a two-wheeled bike.
            • Bicycle with mechanical brake mandatory (back-pedal brakes not permitted)
            • Small stabilizer wheels not permitted
            • Helmet mandatory
