All year round

Take your first lap around the velodrome with our introduction to track lessons. Accessible to people aged 12 and over, these two 2-hour sessions will give you a unique sporting experience. Accompanied by our coaches, you’ll have the chance to learn the basic rules and practice before moving on to the open sessions.

Are you on your first lap? The A initiation is the perfect opportunity to discover the velodrome and the safety rules.

Prerequisites

  • 12 years and older
  • Knowing how to pedal
  • Be in good physical shape

*In the event that the coach deems it necessary, you may have to retake your Initiation A before continuing to Initiation B. Additional fees may apply.

In this lesson, you’ll learn the safety rules specific to group driving.

At the end of Initiation B, those who have met the requirements will receive their certification, which gives them access to the open sessions.

Prerequisites :

  • Have successfully completed initiation A

OR all of the following:

  • Holder of a valid FQSC road/track license (current year)
  • Verifiable track cycling experience within the last 3 years (proof of participation in previous events, annual pass or other)
  • Must be at least 12 years old.

If you wish to pre-book your Initiation B (before completing your Initiation A), you can do so by calling us.

This 20-minute certification is aimed at riders aged 12 and over who have competed in a Junior, Elite, Master or Para national championship within the last 3 years.

This course validates the rider’s skills and knowledge. Once the evaluation has been completed, the cyclist will be certified to access group courses or even free training on the track.

Prerequisites:

Must have participated in a Junior, Elite, Master or Para National Championship within the last 3 years. Proof required.
Must hold a valid competitive track license for the current year.

Arrival time

  • Arrive 30 minutes before the start of class to pick up your bike.
