FQSC x CNCB x Excellence Sports Sherbrooke

The CNCB and Team Quebec offer Quebec athletes a unique opportunity to join a highly specialized track training group.

Thanks to a strategic partnership with the Bromont National Cycling Center (CNCB), the Quebec National Sports Institute (INS Québec), the FQSC, and Excellence Sportive Sherbrooke, talented cyclists will have access to high-level training, scientific, and sports medicine services.

Athletes will benefit from privileged access to reserved time slots on the velodrome, enabling them to perfect their technical, tactical and physical skills in an optimal environment.

Designed for endurance and sprint specialists, both on the road and on the track, this program offers cutting-edge coaching:

Programme Élite sur piste

Whether it’s improving positioning on the bike or refining racing techniques, the Elite Track Program’s track group aims to take selected athletes to a higher level of competition so that they can excel in their respective categories.

Frequency

For each summer block, the training frequency at the velodrome is as follows:

  • 2 supervised training sessions/week

  • 2 open training sessions/week (exclusive time slots)

Schedule and rates

The 2025 summer session is divided into several blocks running from June to October, allowing athletes to join at various times. The summer blocks are:

BLOCK 1

    • Dates: June 16 to July 20, 2025

    • Duration: 20 training sessions

    • Cost: $425 + tax

BLOCK 2

    • Dates: July 21 to August 24, 2025

    • Duration: 20 training sessions

    • Cost: $425 + tax

BLOCK 3

    • Dates: August 25 to October 12, 2025

    • Duration: 28 training sessions

    • Cost: $750 + tax

DROP IN

    • Dates: valid for any Elite Track Program session

    • Duration : 10 sessions

    • Cost: $350 +tax (no benefits included with this à la carte subscription option)

Please note that a 15% fee applies to participants from outside the province. No subsidies or related services are available.

BLOCK 1

  • Dates: October 13 to January 4, 2026.
  • Duration: 12 weeks of training
  • Frequency: 6 classes per week
    • Monday – 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the mixed group
    • Tuesday – 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Wednesday – 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Thursday – 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
    • Friday – 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Cost: $1,200 + tax

DROP IN

  • Dates: valid for any Elite Track Program session
  • Duration : 10 sessions
  • Cost: $350 +tax (no benefits included with this à la carte subscription option)

        BLOCK 1

          • Dates: January 12 to March 8, 2026
          • Duration: 8 weeks of training
          • Cost: $800 +tx

        BLOCK 2

          • Dates: March 9 to May 3, 2026
          • Duration: 8 weeks of training
          • Cost: $800 +tx

        DROP IN

          • Dates: valid for any session of the Elite Track Program
          • Duration: 10 sessions
          • Cost: $350 +tx (no benefits included with this à la carte membership option)

        Requirements to participate

        Be able to meet the FQSC minimum requirements (p4 https://fqsc.net/files/piste/PROG-EQ-QUE-Route-et-Piste-2025-26_250303_133639.pdf ). If an athlete does not know if he/she meets the criteria, he/she will have to undergo tests to confirm that he/she has the required skill level.

         

        Selection process

        Payment does not automatically guarantee a place in the training group*. Each application is subject to evaluation by the program’s technical team.

        Once the application has been submitted, an official notice will be sent to the athlete according to one of the following decisions:

        • Application accepted: the athlete is officially integrated into the group.
        • Tests required: tests will be requested to validate that the athlete meets the minimum performance requirements.
        • Application rejected: the athlete’s profile does not correspond to the program’s criteria at this stage.
        • Waiting list: in the event of a large number of eligible applications, the athlete may be placed on the waiting list for an available spot.

        *If an athlete is not selected for the program, a full refund will be issued.

         

        Accommodation and attendance policy

        To ensure effective program management, the following guidelines must be followed:

        1. Accommodation request

        All requests for accommodation must be sent to the person in charge at least two (2) weeks before the start of the program. Requests received after this deadline may not be considered.

        2. Participation in a session without prior registration

        Any identified athlete wishing to take part in a session for which he or she is not registered must contact the person in charge at least 48 hours in advance. This will ensure proper integration into the group.
