Reaching new heights

A brand-new training program is coming to the CNCB for summer 2025! Designed to help participants make the best possible progress in long-term cycling disciplines, the Endurance Program offers young cyclists aged 7 to 18 a complete biking experience.

By exploring the disciplines of cross-country mountain biking, road, gravel and track cycling, young athletes develop a wide range of skills. Whether it’s strengthening their physical condition, improving their endurance over long distances or perfecting their riding techniques, each session is aimed at long-term progress to help them become better athletes.

Supported by our experienced trainers, they benefit from training adapted to their level, in a stimulating environment that combines fun and self-improvement!

GROUPS

Each session is designed to offer continuous progression in a stimulating environment supervised by qualified coaches.

Three age groups:

  • 7-8 years old – Bibites
  • 9-12 years old – Atoms and peewees
  • 13-18 years old – Minimes, cadets and juniors

DURATION

The 16-week Endurance Program begins the week of April 28 and runs until August 27, 2025. Groups will have a break during the two weeks of construction vacations.

SCHEDULE AND PRICES

With the option of registering your child for one or two sessions per week, this program offers ideal flexibility.

  • Mondays, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Road and gravel
  • Wednesdays, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Mountain biking (cross-country)

Registration fees vary according to the number of training sessions per week.

  • For one training session: $300*
  • For two training sessions: $400*

*Taxes apply only to the 13-18 age group.

LOCATION

Depending on the session you choose, you’ll be able to take advantage of the CNCB’s various facilities or the different networks throughout the city of Bromont. Departure point is always at the CNCB.

REQUIREMENTS

Bromont residents: A valid citizen’s card is required to access Parc des Sommets mountain bike trails.

Non-residents: A seasonal pass is required to access Parc des Sommets mountain bike trails. To obtain one, visit their website, Ticket section.

Included

  • Supervision by specialized trainers
  • 16-week training program

Exclusions

  • Bike suitable for the discipline (rental possible)
  • Bike helmet
  • Gloves and glasses (highly recommended)
  • Water bottle and snack
  • Basic repair equipment (multi-tools, tire levers, tubes, pumps)
  • Red rear safety light for road use (only for Monday training sessions)

Attention

  • A minimum of 8 participants per category is required to maintain the group. The CNCB reserves the right to cancel the session in the event of insufficient registrations.
