Our freestyle training camp is the perfect time to improve your tricks, build your confidence and acquire the skills you need to stand out as a freestyle athlete, while having fun with other young enthusiasts. Going beyond physical training, youngsters will have the chance to explore all aspects of growing as an athlete and developing in the sport.

Kevin Fabregue is a professional athlete specializing in BMX Freestyle. Vice-champion of France in this discipline, he is renowned for his technique and style. Passionate about his sport, he is keen to get involved with young people, to give them a taste for BMX.

 


ALEXANDRA LAFOREST

Kinesiologist & Canadian BMX Freestyle Champion

Alexandra Laforest is a kinesiologist and Canadian BMX Freestyle Champion. She has worked with athletes at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium. She combines her expertise in physical preparation with her experience in BMX Freestyle to guide athletes towards their goals.

To ensure the success of the training camp, each athlete must have his or her own equipment.

Required equipment

  • BMX in excellent working order (brakes and pegs optional, according to rider’s preference)
  • CSA-approved helmet (bowl, mountain or full-face)
  • Knee protectors
  • Bicycle equipment bag (for easy transport of clothes, shoes and other gear)
  • Flat-soled shoes for cycling
  • Clothing suitable for BMX freestyle and other indoor physical activities
  • Hygiene products (soap, toothbrush, etc.)
  • Snacks
  • Water bottle

Optional equipment

  • Protective gear strongly recommended: gloves, elbow pads, shin guards, ankle guards.
  • Bedding (pillow, sheets, blanket and towel). These items will be provided by the Auberge Sportive if necessary.

 

Requirements

  • Have a strong interest in freestyle cycling.
  • Be comfortable riding in the Freestyle Zone (going down the start, doing jumps, going up ramps, etc.).
  • To be aged between 11 and 16 years old.

Inclusions

  • 2 nights accommodation (including bedding and towels)
  • 7 meals for 3 days (lunch, dinner and supper)
  • 3 days of activities and professional guidance
  • Access to CNCB's installations
  • Loan of a track bike
