Freestyle Zone
Open sessionOur Freestyle Zone is a unique place in Quebec for those who want to work on their ease and skills related to aerial jumps and figures. Made up mainly of wooden modules, this expert-level sports arena will appeal to BMX, dirt jumps, skateboarding, scootering and roller skating enthusiasts.
Regular sessions can bring together participants of various levels and disciplines, so it’s important to respect everyone’s level and share practice time fairly with others. The capacity of these sessions is limited to ensure adequate practice time for all participants.
Although the purchase of your access ticket is also valid for booking a session on the pumptrack, please note that booking a session on the Freestyle Zone does not entitle you to also ride on the pumptrack during the same session.
We strongly advise you to reserve your session before coming to the CNCB to speed up the check-in process at the reception desk, and to ensure that the desired session is available. In high season, the number of places available for each session flies out the window.

During these sessions, participants are invited to ride without pressure, using mainly table tops, such as the central island or the top of the 6-foot ramp, as starting points. As there are participants at these points, the 12-foot start is closed to ensure the fluidity and safety of all during the session. This is the perfect opportunity for beginners and regulars alike to practice more technical maneuvers such as coping starts, vertical 180° turns and more.
While there’s no minimum age to participate in these sessions, bear in mind that this is an expert area and you’ll need to share your session time fairly with other users. For reference, you should at least be comfortable riding a pumptrack without pedaling before attempting the Freestyle Zone.
Although the purchase of your access ticket is also valid for booking a session on the roller track, please note that booking a session at the Freestyle Zone does not entitle you to also ride on the roller track during the same session.
We strongly advise you to book your session before coming to the CNCB to speed up the check-in process at the reception desk, but also to ensure availability of the desired session. In high season, the number of places available for each session flies out the window.

During these sessions, a training mat will be set up in the Freestyle Zone. This training mat (commonly called the “RESI Pad”) allows for practicing and executing maneuvers while maximizing safety. It’s an excellent way to progress with confidence.
The training mat will remain in place throughout the sessions and cannot be removed.
Although your ticket purchase is also valid to reserve a session on the roller track, please note that your reservation for a session in the Freestyle Zone does not allow you to ride on the roller track during the same session.
We strongly recommend booking your session before coming to the CNCB to speed up the check-in process at the front desk, as well as to ensure availability of your desired session. During peak season, available spots for each session fill up quickly.
Schedule
Currently, the training mat is planned to be available approximately every three weeks, and throughout the entire weekend (from Friday at 3 PM to Monday at 1 PM). Due to the complexity of installing the mat, it cannot be set up and removed at any time. The schedule will be reassessed each season, so feel free to let us know what you think!
